This is Brownie…she was chained to a tree, got off the chain and was hit by a car, then was tied back to the tree again with both legs badly broken. Thanks to Dr. Newman in Decatur, Brownie has had her first surgery, and one of her broken legs is healing nicely. She is resting and getting the love and attention she deserves at her foster home with John and Peggy Barnard. She will go back to Dr. Newman’s on December 30th for her next surgery, and then back to her foster home for recuperation again. All of the people involved in Brownie’s rescue are to be thanked for caring enough to make a difference in her life…..a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!! So in addition to Dr. Newman and staff, John and Peggy Barnard, and Nicole (who rescued her in the first place), we want to thank all who have donated and said prayers for this wonderful girl.
