This mom and 7 babies,  plus 7 other adult dogs, have full bellies and are resting peacefully tonight, thanks to the hard work of our ANLOL volunteers and Huntsville Animal Services.  So many great dogs and cats come from the city shelter...amazing personalities, wonderful companions, loyal and devoted to the families who adopt them from ANLOL.  We constantly wonder how, in this so-called civilized world, so many intelligent, loving, life-changing animals are in danger of losing their lives every day. This is mind boggling and impossible for the animal lover's brain to comprehend.  They improve the world for us and teach us and want nothing but the best for us humans.  We have to keep doing better for them...thanks to all who work so hard to make the world a better place for the homeless animals!  If you'd like to volunteer with ANLOL, email us at pets@anewleash.org today!!!]]> A New Leash on Life Volunteers

When you adopt a pet from ANLOL, you are adopting a pet who has been in a foster home, not a cage, and his/her good and bad habits are known. Each pet has also been fully vetted: spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, tested for heartworms (dogs) and FIV/Felv (cats), dewormed, and whatever else they need to be happy and healthy! Our main goal is to match each pet with a person or family who will enjoy them as a new family member, make a lifetime commitment to them, and whose lifestyle matches that pet's needs. A New Leash on Life has just recently taken in 7 litters of kittens. All will be FULLY vetted (spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for leukemia and AIDs, vaccinated, dewormed, etc.) before adoption. Please consider adopting a kitten from us - we have a large variety of colors and personalities to choose from. And you will be getting a BARGAIN! Adoption fees are $125 per kitten, and each kitten comes with about $225 worth of vetting. The kittens will be posted on our website as they become available for adoption.....around 8 weeks old.
