Reducing the homeless pet population is our number one priority at A New Leash on Life. The best and most humane way to accomplish this is through spaying and neutering. All pets that are brought into our foster program are spayed or neutered, and we encourage everyone to do the same with their personal pets. Unwanted litters can be given away or sold, but most end back up in shelters to be put to death.
