Little Chamomile

This precious, little girl has a grade 4.5 heart murmor, very atypical of a kitten. She is in need of a cardiology exam, ultrasound, etc. which will initially cost around $350, in order to determine if it can be corrected. We are so hoping that it CAN be corrected and she can live a normal, healthy, happy life with a family of her own.

Please help us help her by making a tax-deductible donation to our ANLOL Marigold Fund, a fund set up for pets in need of immediate and expensive vetting. Dru Petals

So far this year, A New Leash on Life has adopted out several wonderful pets!  Among the lucky ones are Denim, Anna, Maddox, Venus, Tanner, Bada-Bing, Duncan, Millie, Gambino, The Godfather, Earl Grey, …, and more adoptions are pending.  Dru Petals, our full-figured girl, is still with us, but we think 2012 will be her year!  The volunteers of A New Leash on Life are excited about this awesome new year and hope you will join us in our volunteer efforts.  Email pets@anewleash.org for info on volunteering with us!

Puppies and adult dogs are in desperate need of foster homes during this holiday season.

ANLOL pays vet bills for them with proceeds from our Market Place thrift store (which needs more volunteers to keep it open).

Many low-income Huntsville dogs and cats can now benefit from the $10,000.00 donation ANLOL made yesterday to the city’s low-income spay/neuter program.  This donation was made possible by the amazing volunteers at ANLOL’s Market Place who have been working extra hard to make the store a success...it’s a store with a PURPOSE!

The Market Place, a truly unique Huntsville shop, supports ANLOL’s foster and adoption program, as well as our own low-income spay/neuter program for North Alabama residents. Donations of gently-used items from the public are cleaned, fixed, painted, etc. and sold at great prices to raise this money.  It takes many volunteers to keep the store running in order to continue helping the less fortunate pets in our community. If you would like to volunteer, just drop by the store at 707 Andrew Jackson Way in 5 Points, and fill out a volunteer application.
