Foster Home Found for Mom Who Gave Birth in a Mercedes

August 25th, 2008

This sweet and friendly mom wanted a safe place for her kittens, so she climbed into a parked Mercedes to give birth. Homeless, unspayed/un-neutered animals often find themselves in precarious situations like this, and they do their best to find safety for their offspring. This mom found a pretty good spot! Nice leather interior, very clean (it is for sale on a lot), and safe from the heavy traffic flowing right by the car lot.

So, after searching for a SAFER place for her to go, we found one. She is safe in a New Leash foster home where all her needs are met. She sure had some cute kittens! When they are old enough to be spayed and neutered (around 10 weeks), they will be adoptable. Each kitten will come spayed/neutered, MICROCHIPPED, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

If you are interested in fostering cats or dogs, please fill out the foster home application on our website and email it to pets@anewleash.org. All vet bills are paid by ANLOL. Foster homes provide food, water, shelter, transport, and LOTS OF LOVE. Fostering is alot of work, but it’s very rewarding.
