Little Lulu Needs Our Help
This little girl was a stray found in a pasture by a New Leash volunteer. She was shivering, cold, and afraid. We had her examined by Dr. Kevin Lowe at Flint River Animal Hospital and found out she has two luxating patellas (dislocated kneecaps), which are common in toy breeds. This must be surgically repaired, or she will continue to have pain and problems walking and running. So ANLOL is trying to raise money for her surgery. We will have the left leg, which is the worst, repaired first. Then, after a period of healing, we will have the right leg repaired.
If you would like to donate money for Little Lulu’s surgery, please make your check payable to A New Leash on Life, Inc. and mail it to P.O.Box 221, Brownsboro, AL 35741. Or you can donate via paypal on our website. Be sure to indicate that your donation is for Lulu’s surgery. We need to raise approximately $800 quickly! Any extra money will go into the Marigold Fund, a fund set up for pets who need emergency surgeries or treatments, so they don’t have to wait to be helped.
A special foster home will be needed for her after her surgery. Help us spread the word for this precious pup! She deserves a brighter future…a better life!
