A New Leash on Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving our community’s homeless animals in an effort to reach our statewide goal of making Alabama “no-kill” by 2025. We are in the process of fundraising for an expansion and renovation to one of our existing locations.
Since 2004, we have saved over 13,000 lives with over 6,000 of those being in the last three years. Our goal with this expansion is a 50% increase in life-saving.
In order to reach this goal, we need HELP!! Costs for the expansion and improvements will total approximately $300,000 and construction is set to begin before the end of the year.
In even MORE exciting news, we have a generous donor (who wishes to remain anonymous) that will MATCH, dollar for dollar, all funds raised for Hobbes House through November 20th up to $50,000.
Any donation or sponsorship will mean TWICE as much if made during the next 7 DAYS than any other time during the year. It can ultimately help us save TWICE as many homeless animals in need.
