Mary Jo “MJ” Sanderson

Sex: Spayed Female

Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short Coat)

Age: 3 months

Size: Medium

Status: Adoptable

Meet one of the Sanderson Sisters!  Found on the side of a rural road with her sisters, MJ is around 3 months old.

When her sisters were picked up from the shelter, no one knew there was a third sister. Once MJ’s foster found out, she knew she had to reunite the three babies! Mary Jo is such a babe with her adorable and unique spots. She loves people and especially kids. She is more cautious about other dogs but that is only because she loves bonding with people more than anything. Her favorite way to bond with her people is offering up her belly for belly rubs.

If you are interested in adopting one of the Sanderson sisters (or more!), please fill out this form http://anewleash.org/animals/dog-adoption-form/

**Please ask for this pet's adoption fee.  It is a tax-deductible donation to help pay vet bills.

ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one.  So spaces fill up fast!  If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email pets@anewleash.org and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found.  In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
