Justin is a stout little guy with a sweet, playful personality once he settles in. He is shy and will need time to feel safe and loved in his furever home. He gets along great with the dogs in his foster home and is ambivalent about the cats. Because he is skiddish and easily frightened, he will do best in a quiet home. He would love a doggy friend to help him learn the routines in a furever home.
Justin has a congenital condition on his left eye where a piece of skin grew on his cornea. He is being treated for this and will have it surgically removed in a couple of weeks. He should have at least partial vision in the eye after that. Despite his eye condition and shy nature, Justin is a happy fellow who enjoys romping in the yard, snoozing in a comfy dog bed and is learning to play with toys. He has done fabulous with potty training and is working on leash training. Because of his skiddish nature and unfamiliarity with being leash walked, it is recommended his furever home have a securely fenced area for him to play and potty in.
