Jackson came to us as part of the evacuation effort from Hurricane Irma. He had been in the shelter in Jacksonville, FL since July and had suffered from some skin issues, ear infections, respiratory infections and various other issues.  After some tender loving care at our adoption center and the veterinarian, he is thriving and enjoying life! Jackson has a funny personality and likes to play in the yard and especially loves laying on the sofa and playing tug o war with his blankets!  Jackson enjoys taking walks and does well on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and is currently living at our Tails adoption center.  ! If you are interested in adopting Jackson, please fill out this form http://anewleash.org/animals/dog-adoption-form/ Come meet our dogs and cats at 5 locations: A New Leash Lodge (Adoption Center) 2676 Dug Hill Rd. You are responsible for keeping the dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them. Please visit our website at www.anewleash.org for more information.
